Gerbils were first introduced to the pet industry.Did you know back then it was is illegal to purchase, import, or keep a gerbil as a pet in the U.S..but gerbils are very active and fun to watch them jump, sleep ,play and much more!.Gerbils are very friendly more then hamsters you can go on google and type gerbils vs hamsters.Gerbils will win by a land slide.Gerbil will play with anything and are less picky.There are many reasons of gerbils as household pets.Do some research i have 3 and they are the best!!.Gerbils are so cut but you have to get more then one if you don't the will be lonely.Gerbils must me born in the same liter if you don't they will fight to the death.There are some methods here's the link i cant but the whole thing in my page but any way http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=18+1799&aid=1622
